Language can distort and alter our natural and intuitive perception of our world and ‘being’ in the world. The language of mathematics is clean, pure and universal; however, for some of us there exist limits to our understanding and ability to translate its formulations into practical applications. Join us as Dr. Cochrane will focus on understanding nonlinear dynamical systems through a language based model, drawn from the work of Alfred Korzybski, Kenneth Boulding, and J. Samuel Bois, and others.
