As a mother of two boys, I became interested in neurofeedback when I was looking for an alternative treatment option for my son, who was diagnosed with ADD and an auditory processing disorder. Synchronicity led me to NeurOptimal^® Neurofeedback. At the same time as my son’s diagnosis, I was earning my doctorate in somatic depth psychology and learning about the efficacy and science behind Neurofeedback in my Ph.D. program. I discovered brain training greatly reduced my son’s anxiety in school and helped to increase his focus. I was so moved by the effects of Neurofeedback, I opened Optimal Brain Performance LLC in 2018, which offers both NeurOptimal^® Neurofeedback and consulting services. It is a true pleasure to be able to share the benefits of this incredible technology with others, so they may also achieve optimal brain function and thrive.

My Contribution:
I am passionate about empowering my clients to take the lead role in their own healing process. As a somatic depth psychologist, my focus centers on a holistic approach; exploring the body’s innate ability to heal. I feel fortunate to be able to utilize the emerging field of neuroscience, along with my background in somatic therapies, to assist clients with their cognitive, physical and emotional challenges along with helping them attain substantial personal growth.

My clients’ motivations to improve their lives also provide me with the inspiration to continue to advocate for NeurOptimal^® Neurofeedback. Being a participant in their success and witnessing their transformations is incredibly powerful. My clients often report that they feel more present in their life and less reactive to their challenges. They also report that they feel less overwhelmed by their emotions, with increased presence and more creativity. I am so grateful to be a part of this unique healing process and strive to help others find their own success with NeurOptimal^®.

Where Else You Might Find Me: Hiking, swimming laps, playing pickleball, reading, walking my dog Charlie and cooking for my two boys ages 22 & 19.
