Understanding Your Estimate
These estimates are a starting point. They show how the numbers can change based on your pricing, schedule, rental model, and system cost.
Session Based Revenue
This model estimates gross revenue from individual or guided NeurOptimal® sessions. It uses your session price, sessions per week, and working weeks per year to estimate monthly and annual revenue.
Session pricing can vary by location, business setting, client base, package structure, and your available schedule. Most Trainers also build their client base over time, so it is better to start with realistic numbers instead of assuming a full schedule right away.
Rental Based Revenue
This model estimates gross revenue from renting NeurOptimal® systems to clients on a monthly basis. It uses your monthly rental price, number of rented systems, and rental months per year to estimate revenue.
Rental income depends on demand, availability, turnover time, cancellations, and how often systems are actually in use. Rentals can also involve delivery, onboarding, client support, shipping, and insurance considerations that are not included in this estimate.
Gross Revenue, Not Net Profit
The calculator shows gross revenue, which is the total collected before expenses. Net profit would require subtracting costs such as shipping, insurance, marketing, software, rent, taxes, payment processing, support time, and other business expenses.
Use It for Scenario Planning
Use the calculator to compare different pricing, rental, and system-cost scenarios. Adjust the inputs to see how changes in session rate, rental volume, or system cost affect the estimated timeline. This is a planning tool, not a guarantee of income or investment recovery.
All results produced by this calculator are illustrative estimates only. They are intended for exploratory and educational purposes and do not represent guaranteed or projected income.
The calculator compares estimated gross revenue from sessions, rentals, or a combination of both, against the NeurOptimal® system or bundle cost entered. It does not include and does not account for: shipping, shipping insurance, import duties, taxes, payment processing fees, office or studio rent, business insurance, marketing and advertising costs, rental delivery and return costs, equipment loss or damage risk, client support time, software or subscription fees, supplies, continuing education, or any other operating expenses.
Actual revenue and investment recovery depend on many factors including, but not limited to: your pricing strategy, local market demand, client volume and retention, rental utilization, cancellations or no-shows, your schedule and availability, total business operating expenses, taxes, and broader economic conditions.
Zengar Institute Inc. does not represent or warrant that ownership or use of a NeurOptimal® system will result in any particular business outcome. All business decisions, including but not limited to marketing efforts, pricing, client acquisition, and operational practices, are the sole responsibility of the system owner.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about the calculator, revenue modeling, and what to consider when evaluating a NeurOptimal® system purchase.
General ROI Questions
Does this calculator guarantee income?
No. This calculator is an educational planning tool only. It does not guarantee revenue, profit, client demand, or recovery of your system cost. Actual results depend on your pricing, market, expenses, schedule, client volume, cancellations, and many other business factors.
Does this include expenses beyond the system cost?
No. The calculator compares estimated gross revenue against the system or bundle cost entered. It does not include shipping, shipping insurance, taxes, duties, payment processing fees, office rent, business insurance, marketing, supplies, rental delivery costs, support time, or other operating expenses. These costs meaningfully affect actual profitability and should be factored into your own planning.
What does gross revenue mean?
Gross revenue is the total estimated amount collected before expenses are subtracted. It is not the same as profit. To estimate net profit, you would need to subtract your operating costs, such as rent, insurance, taxes, software, marketing, shipping, support time, and other business expenses.
Does this calculator show how profitable NeurOptimal® will be for my specific situation?
No. This tool is designed for education and planning. Profitability depends on your business model, expenses, market, and other individual factors. Use this calculator as a starting point, then work with a business or financial advisor to build a more complete estimate for your situation.
Session Revenue Questions
What do NeurOptimal® trainers typically charge per session?
Session pricing varies by location, setting, clientele, and whether sessions are offered individually, in packages, or as part of a membership. The calculator lets you test different price points so you can model a realistic scenario for your market. Research local rates and pricing that is sustainable and aligned with your offering.
What if I only offer sessions part-time?
Use the Sessions per week and Weeks worked per year fields to reflect your actual schedule. If NeurOptimal® is only a part of your offering, include the number of sessions you realistically expect to offer.
Should I assume a full schedule right away?
Usually not. Many Trainers build client volume over time. Assuming full capacity from the start may overstate early revenue. A gradual ramp-up is often more realistic.
How quickly can I build a full session schedule?
That depends on your existing network, business model, marketing, and local demand. Some Trainers begin with an established client base, while others grow gradually over several months. Planning for gradual growth in your first year is often more realistic than assuming full capacity from the start.
Rental Revenue Questions
Can I model multiple rental systems?
Yes. Use the Number of rented systems field to estimate revenue from more than one system. Keep in mind that additional systems may also increase costs, support time, delivery and scheduling complexity, and business risk. Those factors are not reflected in this estimate.
Does the rental estimate include shipping or insurance?
No. The rental revenue estimate does not include shipping, shipping insurance, delivery logistics, taxes, duties, payment processing fees, equipment damage risk, loss risk, business insurance, or client support time. These costs should be considered separately, as they can significantly affect actual profitability of a rental program.
