My journey with NeurOptimal® started in 2015, and after only hearing about the system I knew it was for me. After my first session I left with a sense of clarity I didn’t know was possible, and 8 sessions later my life had shifted in so many areas. My sleep, concentration, memory, thought organization, confidence, presence and mind-body connection all improved significantly. My personal improvements lead me to learning how the brain operated, and how impactful proper training and support for our brains could be. Since then, I knew my mission was to share this information with as many people as possible so they could experience their own transformation.
My background consists of studying kinesiology at the University of Waterloo. I continued my studies in nutrition and performance training before I became a NeurOptimal® trainer and owner of Open Mind Wellness Centre. I am also a certified health coach and online wellness entrepreneur. I have given talks at large corporate offices and at city events on the brain, with the mission of educating people with the tools they need to improve their lives. Your overall state of wellness is holistic and a mix of knowledge, personal awareness and action to experience the potential you possess inside, my goal is to help you get there.
Professionally, I now offer in office sessions, at-home rental systems and provide live courses for NeurOptimal® certification. My passion is to share my personal knowledge and experience with the NeurOptimal® system and how you can integrate it into a successful business or your own personal wellness journey.

Life Changing Experience

Mental Focus And Reducing Anxiety
The neurofeedback sessions were helpful in improving my mental focus and reducing anxiety. The session results in a state of relaxation, similar to meditation. Jake was helpful in providing maintenance strategies for relaxation and reducing feelings of anxiety in stressful situations.
